Victoria’s Secret Model? Really?

Sometimes, teenagers believe they will find success in something unlikely.  This is a healthy dream that can motivate them to be successful in art, sports, singing, etc. But sometimes, they believe they will find success in something impossible. Please tell them if their dreams are not realistic and help them to consider other options. We do them a disservice to encourage them to follow an unattainable dream. The streets are full of people who had unrealistic dreams and no back-up plan.

The streets are also full of people who once had a dream and let it go because others persuaded them to take a more ‘realistic’ option. Those people carry that regret around with them forever. My advice to the young is always ‘follow your dream’. We can never know where it will lead and maybe they are here to show us the way… 🙂
